GvP students do well in final exams

ST. EUSTATIUS--Final Exam students at Gwendolyn van Putten (GvP) School did relatively well in their final exams.

According to the final exam results, there was a 100-per-cent pass rate for the HAVO and VMBO classes. All five of the HAVO final-exam students and all four of the VMBO-B students passed their exams.

The VMBO-K class recorded a pass rate of 60 per cent – six of the ten students, who sat the final exams passed, while the VMBO-T class recorded a success rate of 82 per cent. Of the 22 students who sat the exams, 18 passed. The results of the PRO and MBO classes were not released.

Final exam students will say goodbye to their high school years during the school’s graduation on Wednesday, July 5.
