'Group of 11' meeting illegal

WILLEMSTAD--Governor of Curaçao Lucille George-Wout indicated to the "new majority" in Parliament that their impromptu gathering Tuesday evening was illegal.

The governor made this clear when she received the "group of 11" Wednesday morning. They had called an urgent meeting the night before to pass motions of no-confidence against the current president and vice-president of Parliament as well as Prime Minister Hensley Koeiman and his cabinet ministers except for those of "Pueblo Soberano," which is part of the envisioned MFK/KdNT/PS/MP/Braam coalition.
