ANGUILLA-- Governor Christina Scott and a delegation from the Anguilla Government attended meetings in Marigot, St. Martin on Tuesday, May 16. Representatives from the customs, immigration, fisheries, police, maritime experts and the port authority were among the delegation. They met with Préfète Déléguée Anne Laubies and her team for discussions on a wide range of subjects. These included many issues of mutual interest and cooperation such as: maritime safety, police and prosecutorial exchange information, illegal immigration and joint customs operations.

The meetings, which take place about three times a year between Anguilla and St. Martin, provide a good high-level forum to discuss issues of strategic importance to both countries.
