“I wanted to do something different this year, and come with a touch that would entice our revellers. I sat down with the designers and this is what we have come up with. The sections are completely different from each other and we hope Carnival lovers like the product we produced,” said Yee in an invited comment.
The mas camp is open from 9:00am to 9:00pm daily and visitors can sign up on the spot if they like what they see. The costumes’ starting price is US $499. As customary, the team promises a high calibre group worth jamming with for the two parade days for Carnival 2016.
During the launching a large group of patrons took pictures with the models sporting the costumes and took the opportunity to sign up on the spot with the troupe.
The 4M Band will be one of the three bands performing for the troupe. Yee also thanked TelCell for taking a section of his troupe and being a good corporate sponsor. There are individual pieces available and as always, those remain secret until the day of the parade.
“We are working to make the Carnival parade bigger and better and we expect 25 persons for every section. I encourage people to come and see what the mas camp has to offer. It has a colour and taste for everybody,” said Yee.
