PHILIPSBURG--Earlier today GEBE developed some issues at the power plant which resulted in several areas being out of power.
“The technicians managed to restore power to all districts with the exception of the Cole Bay lagoon cable,” GEBE announced in a press release on Wednesday afternoon. “Due to a fault on Engine 19, parts of Cole Bay is still without power. The technicians are working diligently on restoration.”
In addition to Cole Bay, some of the other areas affected were Madame Estate, Point Blanche, Belvedere, Dutch Quarter, Cay Hill, parts of Saunders and parts of Philipsburg.
