Flying Dutchman takes off on Fri. as Rockland Estate opens

CUL DE SAC--Thrill-seekers do not have to wait much longer to “take off” on the Flying Dutchman, the world’s steepest zipline! The country’s newest attraction, Rockland Estate eco-park, home of the Dutchman, will have a soft opening as of Friday, November 24.

The eco-park will initially open to the public Friday to Sunday from 10:00am to 5:00pm, said park management. The special day pass available for the opening weekend costs US $54 for adults and $39 for children. The ticket provides access to eco-park and its attractions.
Along with the Flying Dutchman, the Soualiga Sky Explorer, a scenic chairlift ride up and down Sentry Hill, is the other signature attraction available on opening weekend.
The Emilio Wilson Museum and Emilio’s restaurant will also open as of Friday.
Additional attractions, including the Sentry Hill Zip Line and the Schooner Ride, will be under construction, with openings to follow in early 2018.
