Economic Affairs Minister Cornelius de Weever received a copy of the Department of Statistics Yearbook 2017 from Department Head Makini Persaud Hickinson on Wednesday in the Government Administration Building. The publication provides data about the country’s economy, weather, investment, education, health and a number of population factors.
De Weever said the yearbook was a valuable addition to the country’s “arsenal” and will be used to attract investors and inform partners. Copies will be shared when the country’s delegation attends the Seatrade Conference over the weekend. Hard copies of the yearbook are available from the department’s office in the Government Administration Building for NAf. 25 each or online at www.stat.gov.sx .
