At 11am, Tropical Depression Twelve, was moving westward of the Cabo Verde Islands.
At 11am, Tropical Depression Julia continues to move farther eastward. It is expected to meander off the coast of Georgia and South Carolina for the next few days.
This system is drifting towards the east and does not pose a threat to St. Maarten.
At 11am, Tropical Storm Ian was accelerating northeastward over the Central Atlantic and is expected to intensify as it becomes post-tropical. This system does not pose a threat to St. Maarten.
The Meteorological Department of St. Maarten will continue to monitor the progress of these systems.
