WILLEMSTAD--Divi Divi Air performed repatriation and cargo flights between Aruba, Bonaire and Curaçao using two of its Twin Otters on Saturday. The freight transport was an extension of the KLM-Boeing 777 flight that arrived last Friday with medical equipment and other essential goods from the Netherlands.

One of the local carrier’s three aircraft has been converted into a “full freighter”, Divi owner Reginald Richie told Luchtvaartnieuws.nl. The full plane first went to Bonaire and then brought similar cargo to Aruba. The shipment consisted mainly of medical equipment and other healthcare items that had arrived Friday afternoon with the KLM 777, in SkyTeam colours.

Another Twin Otter was used as a charter for repatriation of Dominicanos from Aruba to Curaçao, where they connected “wing-to-wing” on a Fokker 70 flight of JetAir to Santo Domingo.
