SABA--A disaster management exercise will take place on Saba from May 7 to 9 with the focus on tackling infectious diseases. Plans and procedures will be adapted on May 10 based on the learning experience.
All emergency services, including the Royal Dutch Marines will take part in the exercise.
Saba Government said residents may see emergency services active or emergency personnel in protective clothing. This is all part of the exercise.
There will be no clinic hours in the hospital on Wednesday afternoon. For emergencies, residents can contact the hospital or ambulance department. If a real-life emergency occurs, the exercise will be put on hold or canceled.
