Curfew in effect until Thursday at 6am

POND ISLAND--The curfew for St. Maarten remains in effect until tomorrow, Thursday, at 6:00am.

All businesses must remain closed until tomorrow 6:00am.

When lifted, the curfew will be the same as prior to the passing of Hurricane Maria - from 7:00pm to 6:00am daily until further notice.

All residents should be off the roads as the law enforcement authorities will enforce a zero tolerance policy for anyone breaking the curfew, Prime Minister William Marlin and the Emergency Operation Centre (EOC) announced on Wednesday morning.
