GREAT BAY, Sint Maarten--Prime Minister William Marlin together with the Emergency Operation center (EOC) makes it known as of Monday evening, September 18th at 7 PM a CURFEW will go in to effect until the passing of the Hurricane Maria and a damage assessment has been completed.
Everyone should be off the roads at that time as the Law Enforcement Authorities will be enforcing a Zero Tolerance for anyone breaking the curfew. The general public will be informed as to when the curfew will be lifted.
It is mandatory that all businesses be closed at 5:00 PM to allow their employees to return home.
