Cuchi locked up in The Netherlands

PHILIPSBURG--Dangerous convict Kathron “Cuchi” Fortune (39 years) was transported on Sunday to The Netherlands, according to the Prosecutor’s Office on St. Maarten on Monday. He arrived earlier last week on Curaçao on a military flight from St. Maarten.

He was in the SDKK prison awaiting the transport on a commercial flight to Amsterdam. He arrived on Monday morning in the Netherlands and will be staying in the Netherlands until the situation in Philipsburg has normalized.

“Cuchi” Fortune is serving a 21-year prison sentence rendered against him for the murder of Ervin Margarita in 2006.
