PHILIPSBURG--The Collective Prevention Services (CPS) team of volunteers will be continuing the community awareness outreach programme in Lower Prince’s Quarter (LPQ) covering the districts Belvedere, Bishop Hill and Middle Region today, Tuesday, May 5.

The team will be visiting homes within these areas starting at 9:00am.

During these visits volunteers will go door-to-door providing information on COVID-19 and assessing whether there are any persons within households with flu-like signs and symptoms. Persons will be requested to assist in providing their name, address, and phone number to the volunteers.

The volunteers will also gather information on the types of signs and symptoms. “We kindly ask that you be open and provide the information so we can assist in informing you of COVID-19 steps which help to stop the spread,” said CPS.

Based on the information provided, CPS said the department will follow up with a call.

Those who may have missed this opportunity and have any questions or concerns, are advised to call 914.
