PHILIPSBURG--Civil Servants in the country will get an extra day of rest for the New Year as they will be off on Tuesday, January 2.
The Council of Ministers recently decided to give the government workers the day off on the second day of the New Year, it was announced in a press release issued over the weekend.
This means that all Government offices with the exception of emergency and special services will be closed on Tuesday.
Additionally, businesses were allowed to open on New Year’s Day on Monday.
