Christmas treat

Chapel Piece health and recreational centre in St. Eustatius held its annual Christmas Party on Thursday. Senior residents came out en masse, as well as other shut-ins, who had not been out and about for quite some time, and invited guests.

Lena Courtar was in charge of the Christmas programme, which consisted of singing, a poetry recital and a delicious Christmas lunch, while they were entertained by music provided by the seniors themselves. After lunch, gift baskets were presented to the seniors as well as other goodies. Iris Liu (centre) and her team from Hi-5 Supermarket and restaurant made a presentation to the centre as they have done for the past three years.
