Member of Parliament Rolando Brison and Minister of Tourism Stuart Johnson welcomed passengers arriving for the annual SXM Music Festival which started on Wednesday at three locations on island.
World Champion boxer Miguel Angel “Cotto” Vazquez, and Coca-Cola Puerto Rico Bottlers Chief Executive Officer Alberto de la Cruz posed with St. Maarten dignitaries when they arrived. Johnson gave the VIP guests a token of appreciation and welcomed them on behalf of the Tourism Ministry and the government of St. Maarten. Brison, who initiated organisers’ using St. Maarten for the festival, thanked the visitors for attending the festival this year and encouraged them to come to the island during their downtime in the near future.
