PHILIPSBURG--Pupils, teachers and the Catholic school board hosted their annual Holy Mass at L.B. Scott Sports Auditorium on Thursday morning. Primary schools that fall under the Catholic school board participated in the programme with dance, poetry and song.
Minister Silveria Jacobs, Minister Emil Lee and Acting Prime Minister Raphael Boasman attended the special service along with several stakeholders in education. Some parents also chaperoned pupils during the event.
The service started at 7:30am and pupils were transported back to their respective schools close to 12:00pm.
The Catholic school board has organised several events celebrating its faith this entire week.
