Candidate for GEBE board being screened

PHILIPSBURG--A new candidate is being screened to replace the late Roy Marlin on the board of utilities company GEBE.  

“Currently the candidate is being screened and will be announced after this process is completed,” the office of Minister of Public Housing, Environment, Spatial Development and Infrastructure VROMI Miklos Giterson told The Daily Herald on Thursday after he was asked about the vacant post.

Marlin passed away recently, creating the opening on the board. He had been on the board since June 1, 2016. Other members of the board are Bienvenido Richardson, Agnes Monte, Sandy Offringa, Patrice Gumbs, Oral Gibbes and Tadzio Bervoets.
