Residents of Merlin Road are beyond peeved about the state their road has been left in after a cable laying project was abandoned over a month ago.
The work has left an open trench with exposed cables in the ground and on the electricity poles. Compounding the worry about this situation in Pointe Blanche is the anticipated bad weather associated by Hurricane Irma.
