BPW Concordia to hold annual Candle Lighting Ceremony

MARIGOT--Business and Professional Women (BPW) Concordia will be holding its annual candle lighting ceremony and installation of new members, on July 7, 2018, from 7:00pm to 10:00pm at the Chamber of Commerce, Concordia, in Marigot.

The evening will include a dynamic keynote speaker, live entertainment and an upscale cocktail (apétitif dînatoire).

BPW was founded by Lena Madesin Phillips from the United States of America (USA) more than 85 years ago. A few years later she conceived the idea of the Candle Lighting Ceremony. As we perform this ceremony, we will evoke historical memories. The candles symbolize the ambitions and endeavours of dedicated women in every country around the world.

Come share this great fundraising event and experience with us in order to support our actions towards “empowering women to realized sustainable development goals.” Tickets are US $50 or 50 euros. Contact can be made by calling 0690 69.16.59 or any club member for tickets.
