Back to former glory

The Joint Court will soon commence repairs to the historical Courthouse that stands facing Cyrus Wathey Square on Front Street.

The court is taking on the responsibility to repair the hurricane-damaged building whilst government is awaiting its insurance settlement. When that settlement is paid out, the country will have to reimburse the court for its repair expenses, according to Justice Minister Cornelius de Weever.
