Members of the Kingdom Detective Cooperation Team RST and Police Force along with the Justice K-9 Unit confiscated an automatic rifle on Tuesday. Searches were conducted at a home on the old Simpson Bay Road based on information that a man D.P. living at that residence was in possession of an illegal firearm. The high-powered automatic rifle was found during the search and was immediately confiscated. The suspect D.P. was arrested and kept in custody for further investigation.
