WILLEMSTAD--Curaçao’s Asset Recovery Team confiscated three homes on Tuesday, of which two under construction, as part of two criminal cases in the Netherlands.
The seized properties include one on Caracasbaaiweg and another in Jan Thiel, better known as Damasco Resort. These two belong to a man, C.D. of Surinamese nationality.
The third house is located at Blue Bay Resort and belongs to Dutchman A.W.
These confiscations are the result of cooperation between law enforcement entities in the Netherlands and the Dutch Caribbean. They are all considered important for an investigation into money laundering.
