PHILIPSBURG--The appointment booking for St. Maarten/St. Martin Annual Regional Tradeshow (SMART) between international tour operators and agents, local hoteliers and activity providers opens as of today, Monday, tradeshow organisers said on Sunday. SMART kicks off on Wednesday, June 14, in The Westin Dawn Beach Resort and Spa St. Maarten.
SMART is hosted by L’Association des Hoteliers de St. Martin AHSM, St. Maarten Tourism Office in conjunction with St. Maarten Tourist Bureau and St. Maarten Hospitality and Trade Association (SHTA).
Aside from appointments, the Caribbean Hotel and Tourism Association (CHTA), MasterCard, Expedia and AltaVista AG (official Google technology providers for hotels) are confirmed to share their newest insights within workshops. These workshops will be repeated during the day so that attendees have the opportunity to meet with their preferred appointments, as well as learning from the desired lectures.
Attendees arriving early can already have a sneak preview of the island’s newest attraction – Rainforest Adventure Park.
