Anguilla receives drone from British government

The new drone for Anguilla.

ANGUILLA--The British government has funded a drone for Anguilla which can be used to overfly the island after a hurricane to determine where best to deploy responders and equipment. It will be used by the Anguilla Fire and Rescue Services and the Royal Anguilla Police Force.

Currently Romaro Richardson from the Fire and Rescue Services and Cherrydelle Coombs from the Police Force are among regional emergency service personnel receiving drone piloting training. The training is taking place in the British Virgin Islands and is funded by the British government.
