Anguilla gets new fire truck funded by UK government  

New fire truck with governor, government officials and fire officers.

 

ANGUILLA--A new fire truck arrived in Anguilla on Tuesday, December 18. It was offloaded from a cargo ship in Road Bay. The truck is the first of three brand new fire trucks funded from the UK grant of 60 million pounds sterling, to arrive on island.

Governor Tim Foy and Deputy Governor Perin Bradley as well as Minister of Infrastructure Curtis Richardson and Minister of Home Affairs Cora Richardson-Hodge were present.

Chief Fire Officer Shondell Hodge and other officers from the Anguilla Fire and Rescue Service received the Rosenbauer Panther Fire truck into their care as it was offloaded.
