ADOTUR names PAWA as best airline in Dominican Republic

DOMINICAN REPUBLIC/AIRPORT--The Dominican Association of Tour Operators ADOTUR has named PAWA Dominicana as the “Airline of the Year” in the Dominican Republic at the first edition of the ADOTUR Awards held in Hard Rock Café Blue Mall.

The awards, which also included hotels, travel insurance, sales executives, tourism journalists, among other categories, granted PAWA the prize taking into account its active participation in the sector, support for travel agencies and the service offered by the airline in the Dominican Republic.

The recognition was received by Maryleidy Mosquea, National Sales Manager, and Miguel Morales, Sales Executive of PAWA Dominicana, who expressed their gratitude to ADOTUR for the recognition.

“This action strengthens the commitment we have made since we started operations in 2015; to turn the International Airport of the Americas into the centre of connections of the Caribbean, and to boost tourism and the nexus of Dominicans with their land. We are very proud of the opportunity that our passengers offer us every day in being able to fly higher and further together,” said Mosquea at the ceremony.

According to PAWA executives, this recognition serves as a stimulus to continue their growth and strengthen their image as the Dominican airline.

Other important airlines operating in the Dominican Republic for years were also nominated in this first edition of the award.
