The Soul Beach Music Festival 2025 was an incredible celebration of music, culture and community, marking a triumphant return to the island where it all began. Held from May 21 to 26, the festival attracted many visitors from surrounding islands, the USA and other locations.
Our Friendly Island served as the perfect backdrop for this star-studded event. The island's unique blend of Dutch and French cultures, combined with our crystal beaches and “Vegas-style” nightlife, provided an unmatchable setting for the festivities. The 2025 edition featured an impressive line-up of artistes and entertainers including the following persons:
- Charlie Wilson: A legendary figure in R&B, known for his timeless hits and captivating performances.
- Muni Long: A Grammy Award-winning artiste who brought fresh energy to the stage with her soulful melodies.
- Cedric the Entertainer: The acclaimed comedian and actor delivered laughter and joy to the audience.
- DJ Envy: The renowned DJ from iHeartMedia’s “The Breakfast Club” kept the crowd dancing with his electrifying sets.
- DJ Outkast: A local favourite who showcased St. Maarten's vibrant music scene.
Beyond the music, the festival highlighted our rich cultural heritage. Local artistes shared the stage with international stars. Hotels reported higher occupancy rates – and restaurants, bars and retail establishments also experienced increased patronage. Attendees enjoyed a variety of events, including the following:
