Sugar Mill Café

Serving up something sweet this Father’s Day

Newly established at Miss Lalie’s Center on Bush Road, Sugar Mill Café is St. Maarten’s newest space to grab something sweet and delicious. The menu changes often and provides customers with wide variability when it comes to mixing and matching flavours! They’ve got something super special planned for this Sunday, June 20, which is Father’s Day.

This Father’s Day, bring your fathers out to the Sugar Mill Café to enjoy a sweet time. Come out and hear the sweet sounds of Dow’s Musical Group performing on steelpan while you enjoy the delectable options.

That’s right! There will be a special Father’s Day Brunch planned with sweet and savoury items for dad to choose from! Adults: $25; children: $15; children under five: Free. There are different seatings available starting from 10:30am, but reservations are required. Every dad receives a free mimosa!

Established just over a month ago, Sugar Mill has a menu packed with favourites that are sure to exceed your expectations! Initially, the location opened up as a sweet spot, but after an outpouring of requests, the owners decided to expand the menu to serve breakfast.

Along with an assortment of coffees, like cappuccinos, lattes and espressos, you can grab an option from their take on local, Mexican and American breakfasts. Enjoy the chicken and waffles, featuring honey flavoured chicken wings, with a twist on waffles and doused in icing sugar; the savoury-sweet combination is mind-blowing! Not into chicken and waffles? Choose different flavours of pancakes, or French toast, instead!

If you’re not a meat eater, there are veggie options like omelettes and burritos. And like everything else on the menu, they can be customised to your preference! Johnny cakes are on the menu, and you can have them in different styles like sweet potato, with your choice of filling of tuna, salt fish or BLT style – you decide!

Want to start your day with something warm, crispy and tasty? Breakfast paninis are brilliant! Try the ham, turkey, grilled chicken, eggs or club sandwich panini! Mix and match them any way you like! With the Sugar Mill Café, you can spin the windmill multiple times and never have the same combination twice. No matter the time of day, you can enjoy whatever the menu has to offer, and make it your own. If it’s later in the day, have a pressed iced coffee, sourced from a variety of places.

A hot day is the perfect time to take advantage of all the types of ice creams. The flavours change as the mood dictates, so let them know what you want, so you don’t miss out on your favourites. The kids can take advantage of the Kids’ Menu – head over and mention that you want a Lil Waffler for your lil person!

Closed on Mondays; opening hours are 7:00am to 7:00pm Tuesday to Thursday; and 8:00am to 9:00pm Friday, Saturday and Sunday! To reserve your spot for brunch, give them a call or WhatsApp them ahead of time at +1 (721) 580 2003. Check out Facebook.com/TheSugarMillCafe for more information.
