From November 1 to 9, Saba will host the highly anticipated Rum & Lobster Fest – a nine-day celebration of the island’s rich flavours and vibrant culture. Whether you are a dedicated foodie, a rum enthusiast, or simply looking for a unique Caribbean getaway, this festival is a must-visit!
The Rum & Lobster Fest showcases two of Saba’s signature offerings: The delicious spiny lobster and the beloved Unspoiled Queen Liquor rums by Saban Rock Living. With a packed schedule of tastings and activities, visitors and locals alike can indulge in mouth-watering culinary experiences inspired by this year’s theme “Savor the sea, Sip the spirit, Celebrate the island.” This annual event is a true collaboration among Saba’s restaurants & bars and tourism stakeholders coming together to highlight the island’s creativity, community spirit, and exceptional flavours.
Here’s a sneak peek at what’s happening during this year’s festival! The excitement kicks off with The First Taste, followed by a week filled with special Rum & Lobster menus across the island. Enjoy the Rum Crawl, Cocktails and Crafts, an energetic 5K Run, and various exciting Rum and Lobster events.
Accommodation specials
Visitors can take advantage of exclusive accommodation specials offered by Saba’s hotels, cottages, and guesthouses during the Rum & Lobster Fest. Known for its warm hospitality and central location in Windwardside, Juliana’s Hotel is offering 20% off with the code RUMLOBSTER. Getting there is easy
Getting to Saba is easy with Winair offering daily flights to the island, including special day trip fares. For those who prefer to travel by sea, enjoy a scenic 90-minute ferry ride aboard the Makana Ferry, with service between Saba and St. Maarten four days a week. Alternatively, hop onto The Edge ferry, which operates twice a week on Tuesdays and Fridays, providing another option to reach Saba. Whether you’re flying or sailing, your journey to Saba is just a short trip away!
