PADI Women’s Dive Day with Dive Adventures

PADI Women’s Dive Day with Dive Adventures

Join Aqua Mania for an exciting and empowering experience on July 15 – PADI Women’s Dive Day!

Dive Adventures is celebrating the beauty and diversity of the underwater world, and providing the perfect opportunity to get together with other like-minded women and explore the depths of the ocean, in a fun and supportive environment. Whether you're an experienced diver or just starting out, our dive will be tailored to your level of skill and comfort. This is about going out and having some fun with the girls.

Safety is of course our first priority. Our equipment is top-of-the-line Scuba Pro Gear from The Scuba Shop in Simpson Bay. All gear is regularly maintained, and our instructors are experienced in guiding divers of all levels. It may have been a while since you brought out your gear or went scuba diving, so we’re choosing an easy, shallow dive, where we can relax and enjoy blowing some bubbles, sink soundless into the wonderment of the underwater world, and hang out for prosecco and cake after the dive.

Life gets hectic with work, family, responsibilities and the like, so when Kim Frye of The Scuba Shop, initiated the idea of joining PADI’s Women Dive Day two years ago, Dive Adventures jumped to join in. What started out as an annual event celebrating Women and Diving is now essentially a celebration of getting together with your girlfriends or lady family-members and heading out on an easy and leisurely dive.

Dive Adventures started in 1986 on St. Maarten at the then Pelican Resort. As a part of the larger Aqua Mania Adventures tours and boat trips, the dive shop still enjoys its original home at the now Simpson Bay Resort and Marina. Assisted by Denzel, Royford Jen and Ryan, the dive team comprises Instructor Audrey, Dive Master Steve and Boat Captain Soinet who take customers out daily for 9:00am double tank dives, and 2:00pm Discover Scuba shallow dives.

Dive Adventures has daily departures for scuba diving from Simpson Bay Resort and Divi Little Bay Resort. If you dive often and enthusiastically or if it has been a while since your last dive, the professional dive team is ready to make the experience a memorable one.

As a real treat and something perhaps new for many divers, sign up for a night dive on Thursdays. The entire scene changes underwater as the sun sinks below the horizon. The majesty of the “Gregory” Wreck is silhouetted, and the reef comes alive with the help of glow sticks and flashlights.

Come experience the wonder of the ocean like never before. Book your spot on The PADI Women’s Dive Day, brush the cobwebs off your gear and enjoy a shallow dive. Contact +1 (721) 544-2640 or +1 (721) 544-2631 for more information or reservations.
