Heineken’s Green Zones hosts this weekend’s hottest parties

The 42nd St. Maarten Heineken Regatta is ON – and there will be plenty of partying opportunities to go with it! Although there will be no official entertainment open to the public at Regatta Village in Port De Plaisance, Heineken is activating “Green Zones” at partnered venues from Friday, March 5, until Sunday, March 7, of the upcoming Regatta weekend. We’ll see you there!

Due to the COVID-19-limitations, although now slowly relaxing, organizers have decided not to host the usual large parties and international artists for crowd management. There will be light entertainment at Port De Plaisance along with daily prize-giving to support the racing of 104 boat entries and participants flying in from around the world to sail in this year’s regatta.

But don’t worry; party animals can still get their dose of serious fun in three subsequent nights at three amazing venues.

Your night out in the Heineken® Green Zone is going to be special. There will be an amazing line-up of international & local DJs and bands, you can enjoy the serving rituals and share memorable moments with those around you – all in safe, outdoor venues.

All events will have free entry with VIP booking available for each venue. As of Tuesday, March 1, St. Maarten has discontinued implementing the health pass; therefore, attendees will not require a heath pass for entry to these events.

Check out the amazing line-up for this coming weekend – serious fun guaranteed:

Friday @ Soggy Dollar Bar

The fun-packed party weekend kicks off under the stars at one of the island’s classic party hotspots – Soggy Dollar Bar’s Green Zone will start at 9:00pm and will be hosted by Gee Money.

DJ EM will be the first artist to take on the turntables. The Suriname-born DJ currently resides in St. Maarten and sure knows how to get a crowd going. Known for his former residences at Rhythm N Booze and Loterie Farm TreeHab Pool Party, this artist spins a variety of `genres such as Afrobeats, Reggae, Disco, EDM, Hip-Hop & R&B, Soca and Dancehall.

Next up is DJ Eagle, who is best known for his residency at Soggy Dollar Bar for Latin Night on Tuesdays. Eagle will bring you the hottest sounds of Latin music, with a mix of genres to fit any party. Then the Livin’ High Band will take the stage. Also known for their shows at The Pub and at Soggy Dollar Bar, St. Maarten’s best rock band will take you back and keep you groovin’ to the best rock and pop music!

Saturday @ Moonbar

The second Green Zone will be activated at Moonbar, St. Maarten’s new rooftop bar – a beautiful venue with incredible views of Maho, lots of neon lights and, yes, you guessed it, a massive moon-shaped disco ball lighting up the dance floor. Once again, Gee Money will host the party starting at 9:00pm.

First up is Bianca Dijkhoffz, also known as DJ BB Bad, combined with a live performance by the stunning St. Maarten Heineken Regatta (SMHR) dancers. DJ BB Bad, who is also an international dancer, is now spinning across St. Maarten, including a residency at Moonbar on Sundays. You really don’t want to miss the only performance of the SMHR dancers this year, so make sure to get there on time!

The party continues with a killer set by Dj KillerZ. The regional artist will be flying in from Martinique to bring the best sounds of Hip-Hop, Afrobeats and more. Dj KillerZ has played around the globe, but gets parties going mainly in Guadeloupe, Martinique, St. Martin, and St. Barths.

Last, but certainly not least, we have DJ Nomis – all the way from Paris, France. DJ Nomis brings the best sounds of tropical house, spinning in Paris, Tulum and more, but you probably have seen him spin at Rainbow Café, in Grand Case.

Sunday @ Mykonos

We hope you still have enough energy for Sunday’s final Green Zone because the party at Mykonos cannot be missed. The Heineken Regatta will go out with a bang from 10:30pm – be there or be square!

The final party kicks off with the one and only Cut Creator DJ Outkast. No stranger to the island’s music scene and the St. Maarten Heineken Regatta, DJ Outkast knows how to bring you the best of old school and new school.

The seriously fun party weekend will end with Mister T all the way from France. He is resident DJ at Roxxy Beach and is known for his set at Adeeptive Sundays at Karakter. Mister T, also known as Thierry, brings the best electronic and house music to the island.
