Corona Beer asks you to pay with plastic!

Corona Beer asks you to pay with plastic!

Oceans week starts from June 8. June is an important time to celebrate and observe the state of our natural world. More importantly, it is a significant opportunity to better understand and explore options to raise your voice and roll up your sleeves for the environment. From World Environment Day (June 5) to World Oceans Day (June 8), there are numerous ways to get involved, even while at home.

What is the theme for World Oceans Day 2021?

“The Ocean: Life and Livelihoods” is the theme for World Oceans Day 2021, as well as a declaration of intentions that launches a decade of challenges to get the Sustainable Development Goal 14 – “Conserve and sustainably use the oceans, seas and marine resources” – by 2030.

On Wednesday and Thursday, Corona Beer will be sponsoring a pop-up station, and representatives will be at Prime from 1:00 to 5:00pm. Then on Friday and Saturday from 4:00 to 8:00pm, the representatives will be at Sunny Foods.

Anyone can come to these stations and bring their plastic; a bag-full will entitle you to one free voucher and much more. You can get a nice, cold Corona Beer in return for this, at one of the following bars: Soggy Dollar, Red Piano, Bandidos Locos, Pineapple Pete and The Pier (Boardwalk). Vouchers can be redeemed at any of the bars from the start of the pop up until the end of June.
