The Sint Maarten Yacht Club (SMYC) Sailing School welcome almost 150 children onto the water during seven weeks of sailing camp over the summer.
Young sailors of different ages and experience levels learned new skills, built confidence and enjoyed time on the water. For many, the camps offered their first introduction to sailing, while returning sailors continued to grow their love for the ocean. Camps included a wide variety of activities in and around the water, all while having fun in a safe and active environment. SMYC received support for the programme from Sint Maarten Yacht Club Bar & Restaurant, Zee Best, Domino’s, Captain’s Rib Shack, and Bob Hilbert.
