On Saturday, July 5, the Belair Community Center was brought to life with music and dance, when Dance and Arts Dimensions Academy International held their dance workshop presentation, “Let God Arise.” This grand show was an opportunity for dance students to showcase what they learned over a week of intense training in different genres such as Modern, Contemporary, Hip Hop, Gospel, Afro, and Ballet.
The Dance and Arts Dimensions Academy dancers were joined by the Shakinah Theater Group from St. Kitts, as well as the workshop teachers Chantal Hill from the United States and Rijkman Hodge from St. Maarten/The Netherlands. Dancers as young as five years old took part in this showcasing of talent. The dance academy sends a big “thank you” to all volunteers, parents, and committee members who made the week of workshops and the show a big success.
