 Team St. Maarten earns three medals at CrossFit Guadeloupe

Team St. Maarten returned home with three medals and a fourth place finish at the CrossFit Competition in Guadeloupe. The team trains out of Colosseum SXM.  Sophia Broere returned home with a second place finish in the Intermediate Division.  Suzianne Duzong-Davis placed third in the RX division and Vasco Daal placed third in the 40+ Masters category. Team leader


Alan Schet took fourth place in the Elite division and Sandy Offringa earned a fifth place finish in the RX division. “There was blood sweat and tears shed in this competition as our athletes endured a very long and strenuous weekend starting early in the morning and ending in the late evening hours,” said Schet.  “Our team was certainly surprised at the level of skill that was displayed by the other Islands/Countries.”
  Liska Busby placed seventh in the Intermediate division, Gilda Parisot finished ninth in the Intermediate Division, Sjamira Roseburg was tenth in the Intermediate Division and Quincy Turner  was eleventh in the RX division.
