PHILIPSBURG-- Three representatives from the French Baseball Federation are on the Friendly island to host a series of free clinics this week.

Tuesday and Thursday the clinics will be at the Little League Ballpark on Pond Island from 3:00 to 6:00pm and Saturday 9:30 to noon.
Wednesday and Friday the clinics for the Pony League will be at John Cooper Jose Lake Sr. Ballpark from 3:00 to 6:00pm and Sunday at the field in Belvedere from 9:30am to noon.
“We came here last year and did try outs for the national teams,” said Boris Rothermundt who serves as vice director of the Federation, manages the 18 and Under National Team and coaches the Senior National Squad. “We saw a lot of talent but it needs some developing.  That’s why we are back this year to do clinics.”
Conducting the clinics along with Rothermundt will be Lahcene Benhamida, manager of the U-12 and in charge of trainings for coaches and Stephen Lesfargues who is the National Technical Director Chief.
