Fifty-two past quarterly Tae kwon do exams

King Yen School MIDDLE REGION—Fifty-two Tae kwon do students from the King Yen School in Middle region took and pasted their examination to earn the next higher belt Saturday.


The King yen School under the guidance of Grand master Theo Liu conducts examinations in the Gymnasium of the Sister Marie Laurence School Gymnasium quarterly.
Earning their first belt, a white belt with one yellow stripe were Elenor Arancibia, Mahaila Artiles, Xavier Aventurin, Owen Christian, Leomar Dolphin, Mario Dorane, Nick Encarnacion, Jai Hiu  Henry, Chrissincia Mathew, Surya Raghosing, Rani Raghosing, Mira Raghosing, Jamerie Richardson, Maalik Richardson, Desire
Sylvester, D’Andre Victor and Kiara Williams,.


“The  students have done very well once again,” said the Grandmaster. "Each time the students graduate from one level to the next, it is a positive development for the Tae kwon do sport on St. Maarten.”White belt - two yellow stripes


A white belt with two yellow stripes was earned by Jaden  Batista, Isis Bell, Ronaldo Candia - Williams, Emily Leysner, Crystal Narducci, Clarosana Mathew, Marcellus Mathew, Desire Sylvester, and D’Andre  Victor.Grand master Liu was assisted by his local made black belt holders Freya Knaggs, Shane Shamdeo, Reuel Kerdijk and the school therapist and tournament coordinator Paulien Vuijst.. Yellow belts were earned by Adjani Blake, Aarti Gianchandani, Jayden Harriott, Anna-Lynn  Hypolite, Joey Narducci, Emilius Rey, Earl Ryan and Miguel  de Weever.
The students were tested for gymnastics and flexibility, basic techniques and patterns while the higher belts were also tested on free sparring and break-tests with either a hand- or foot technique.Yellow belt - green stripe


Younes  Azbouni, Vanye Beeldsnijder,  Josiah Emmanuel, Angelique Helliger, and Mekhi Holaman earned a yellow belt with a green stripe.   Green belt
Earning a green belt were Amani Gijsbertha, Alisia  Helliger, Micheal Helliger, Francky  Helliger, and Adan
Mathew.Green belt - blue stripe


A green belt with a blue stripe  went to Khalil  Beeldsnijder, Eldert Joel  Louisa, and Andries  Patrick. Blue belt
Sherwin  Racherds, and Tyrone  Washington, will now wear a blue belt while red with a black stripe went to  Ivyanne  Louisa, Destiny  Washington, and Justin  Wilson.
