Eversteijn wins 10-Ball Tourney

SUCKER GARDEN-- Rene Eversteijn won the 10-Ball Tournament for Top League Players at 8/9Poolbar Sucker Garden Sunday. The St. Maarten National Billiards Federation has divided their shooters into two divisions. The elite eight compete in the Top League, while the remaining players shoot it out in the A-Ranking Division.


Eversteijn faced Michael Parris in the final and won 5-4.
In the first round of play Eversteijn faced Jermain Prentice and won 3-0. In the second round he faced Anthony Watkins and advanced to the final winning 4-0.
Parris drew a bye in the first round and bested Rik Geurds 3-0 in the second round.
The victory was the first in the Top League for Eversteijn.
