 Drift and Drag expo and demo a big two-day success show

POND ISLAND—Joseph Woods won the Best Drag Performance Trophy and Joel Toney won Best Drifting Performance Trophy at the St. Maarten Automotive Federation two day show at the Government Parking Lot on Pond Island on Saturday and Sunday.


  The Exhibition Drift and Drag training session and demonstration was a fund raiser for the federation to help members compete in local and internationals events. The show was a collaboration between the Automotive Federation, the St. Maarten Drift Association and the St. Maarten  Drag Racing Association.
  A total of 22 motor sporters participated in the show.  Demonstrations were presented by Mad Mechanics, Bad-EK, St. Maarten Drag Racing Association, Sxmhoonigans, St. Maarten Outlaws, Music Cars and Stunt Bikes.
   Trophies were presented to the best performance and all participants received a token of appreciation for their hard work and dedication keeping Motorsport alive at the National level.
  The Automotive Federation organizing committee is very satisfied with the positive reception they received from the public and participants.
  The  Federation will host a St. Maarten Day Show Down November 11 at the Government Parking lot on Pond from 3:00 to 8:00pm
