CAY HILL—Curacao dominated the 3rd Annual Andre “Nell” James Veteran Softball 60+ Male and 50+ Female Softball Tournament at John Cooper Jose Lake Sr. Ballpark over the weekend.
Curacao Stars won the female division. Team Curacao placed second. Natasha Marselia from team Curacao earned the Batting Tittle with an average of .667. Grace Girigorie from Team Curacao was named Best Pitcher while Myriela Carlo from Team Curacao Stars was the division’s Most Valuable Player. In the Male division the Lions Veteran 60+ from Curacao took top honours. Ludwig De Wind was the Best Pitcher and Franshe Lambertina was named both Batting Champion and the MVP. Lambertina had a batting average of 750. Tigers 60+ Vets from St. Maarten finished second in the male group.
