Workshop on bullying today

PHILIPSBURG--The Education Ministry’s Student Support Services Division (SSSD) is organising an “interactive and informative” workshop entitled “Bullying: The Damaging Effect and What Parents Can Do to Support Their Children,” at University of St. Martin (USM) from 7:00 to 9:00pm Wednesday, July 3.  

The public, particularly parents of primary and secondary schoolchildren, as well as teachers and other interested persons are encouraged to attend.

The objective of the workshop is to educate and empower parents, teachers and the public via an open discussion regarding bullying in today’s society.

“In addition to the anticipated fruitful and interesting discussion, this workshop will brainstorm solutions to utilise in moving forward,” it was stated in a press release.
