ST. EUSTATIUS--A woman in St. Eustatius was arrested on Tuesday afternoon for fighting three times on the same day with another woman, the Caribbean Netherlands Police Force KPCN has reported.
KPCN said its central control room received a report on Tuesday morning of “two physical confrontations between two individuals,” with one taking place near the island’s hospital.
Later that afternoon, there was “another confrontation between the parties” near the hospital, which resulted in a car being damaged.
A video circulated on social media showing one of the women being treated by medical personnel for what appeared to be stab wounds to both legs. Local reports also indicate that the women are related.
KPCN arrested a woman C.N.P. (25) on Tuesday afternoon in connection with the three fights, but has not confirmed if one of the women had stabbed the other, or the relationship between the two.
The investigation is ongoing, KPCN said.
