Officials signing the agreement.

PHILIPSBURG--GB Energy St. Maarten (Texaco) has entered into a supply and equipment loan agreement with a corporate partner in St. Maarten – Windward Islands Airways International NV Winair.

Winair is a locally operated airline which recently expanded its services to various Caribbean islands, including destinations such as Curaçao and the Dominican Republic.

GB Energy provided equipment and the technical expertise necessary to install a self-contained above-ground tank for the storage and supply of ultra-low-sulphur diesel fuel to all Winair’s truck fleet.

Winair Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Michael Cleaver commended GB Energy St. Maarten for its assistance after Hurricane Irma and stressed that without its support Winair would not have been able to satisfy its customers in a timely manner.

GB Energy CEO Bela Szabo expressed his commitment to continue to provide the highest service standards to Winair and said he looks forward to strengthening the partnership with the airline.
