COLE BAY--Well-known repeat offender A.R. was caught in the act by police around 11:45pm Friday, August 16, while he was breaking into a private vehicle with licence plate M-2994 and stealing items from it.
The incident took place on Wellington Road in the vicinity of Lagoonies in Cole Bay.
The suspect tried to flee, but officers quickly caught up with him. He was then arrested, and the personal items stolen from the vehicle were confiscated for further investigation.
