A strengthened Atlantic high pressure system is the dominant feature across the region, generating brisk winds. Consequently, patches of  low level clouds being pushed across the local area will bring occasional cloudiness and isolated showers. In addition higher winds will cause sea conditions to deteriorate over the next few days. A small craft advisory will be issued by tomorrow as seas are expected to reach near 8 feet. Small craft operators and sea-bathers should maintain caution.
