United adds a Bonaire flight

BONAIRE--United Airlines is expanding in the Dutch Caribbean and announced a second weekly non-stop flight to Bonaire.

The new flights will operate every Sunday, between Newark and Bonaire, in addition to the carrier’s existing Saturday service from both Newark and Houston to the island. The service will operate between June 12 and August 14, 2016.

The Saturday flights will depart Newark at 9:00am, arriving in Bonaire at 1:45pm. The return flight will depart Bonaire at 2:45pm, arriving in Newark at 7:50pm.

The Sunday flights leave Newark at 7:55am, arriving in Bonaire at 12:40pm, with return flights departing at 1:05pm and arriving in Newark at 6:45pm.

The new flights are part of what is a wider expansion to the Caribbean for United in the last year.
