Prime Minister Leona Romeo-Marlin has requested the assistance of Royal Dutch Marines ahead of Tropical Storm Isaac. These military trucks, spotted by photographer John Halley on Tuesday, were said to be on their way to Princess Juliana International Airport to collect marines coming into the country from their bases in Aruba and Curaçao. St. Maarten only has a small detachment permanently stationed in Pointe Blanche year-round.
