POND ISLAND--TelEm’s Outside plant technicians will be carrying out maintenance work in the Orange Grove, Cole Bay, area today, Friday.
The work will begin at 8:00am and will continue until approximately 12:00 noon today. According to TelEm Group, the work will involve replacement of a corroded 300-pair telecommunication cable and will affect homes and businesses located in Orange Grove Shopping Center, Queen Palm Road, Caribbean Palm Road and Coconut Palm Road.
Due to the nature of the work, interruptions to telecommunication lines and communication in these areas will be affected.
TelEm Group’s management apologised to customers in the affected areas for any inconvenience caused by these maintenance works which, once completed, will help to improve telecommunication connections in these same areas, the company said.
